a couple things to know about me out of character; i am an eighteen-year-old gay man of colour who goes by he/him pronouns. if you can’t respect that, i won’t hesitate to block you. my knowledge on volleyball comes solely from haikyuu!! and the handful of games i’ve watched; i really don’t know shit about playing volleyball firsthand. i don’t speak japanese (but i’m planning to learn it!), so anytime i speak in japanese through noya it’s purely from an online translation and i can’t confirm the accuracy of anything i write in that language. my time zone is EST but i have a terrible nocturnal sleep schedule as of now so my activity will ironically frequent that of JST!

admittedly, i tend to project onto noya. whether it be through personality quirks or habits or hobbies, there will be quite a lot of self-indulgent stuff here! some of the things noya tweets about are actually happening to me in real life, just through noya’s voice. which tweets are real and which are fiction? we’ll never know...

if it wasn’t obvious enough, the character i’m roleplaying as is the electric guardian deity, nishinoya yuu from haruichi furudate’s haikyuu!!. i am a shitpost roleplayer on here so i won’t be writing anything literate, sorry! i tweet like how i imagine noya to tweet, and of course i’ll also be engaging in shenanigans with other roleplayers. my portrayal of noya is as canon compliant as i can be, meaning he’s currently in his timeskip era and is of that age. he travels a lot, plays volleyball on the occasion, and doesn’t have a goddamn job. (not in canon, at least... i’ll teeter between fisherman!noya and photographer!noya when tweeting!)

nishinoya is LOUD, so i’ll be typing in ALL CAPS whenever i’m in character! (unless something were to really bother him...) he’s friendly and extroverted and unapologetic, meaning he’ll act super outgoing to your character, but please let me know if i’m ever being too overwhelming!

my noya is bisexual and i typically address him with he/him pronouns but frankly, he doesn’t mind at all if you call him otherwise. please don’t try to forcibly date him, i doubt i’ll have my noya date anyone unless i have chemistry with the person both IC and OOC. flirting with him is fine, just keep it sfw. even if you’re talking to noya, just remember noyamun exists! i’m partial to asanoya as a ship, but i’m pretty open to anything that’s within decency!

i keep it fairly sfw on this account (aside from swearing; YUU SAYS FUCK!), but with my character being noya, i will sometimes make a lame sex joke. albeit, i will never ever write anything explicitly nsfw here so please do not try to come onto noya like that, especially if you’re a minor.

i do not tolerate the fetishization of mlm in any way so if i see anything that makes me, an mlm myself, uncomfortable, i’ll most definitely call you out or just block you if you refuse to listen. the same goes for any form of bigotry.

overfamiliarity is a big no from me, especially OOC. noya can’t help but be uninhibited towards everyone, but i as noyamun have the ability to control whatever noya does so i’ll do my damned hardest to not overstep any boundaries; please do the same for me.

i try my best to reply to everyone since noya is a very talkative person. although, if i don’t reply to you please don’t take it personally because i probably either didn’t see the notification or just don’t know what i could possibly respond with.
